IMPORTANT REMINDERS FOR BDO CREDIT CARD

CANCELLATION REQUESTS

Please be advised that once you cancel your card, you can no longer enjoy the services, product features and benefits of
your BDO Credit Card. In addition, all your supplementary/virtual cards will also be cancelled.

Please note of the following conditions should we proceed with your request:

About your Outstanding Balance:


• Should you have any outstanding balance, your account will continue to incur applicable fees and charges
and you will continue to receive monthly Statement of Account.

About your Installment Balance:


• If you have remaining installment balance, it will be billed in full on your next billing statement together
with the acceleration fee of 5% of your remaining principal amount or Php300 whichever is higher. This
amount will be part of your outstanding balance.

About your Auto Charge Facility:


• Should you have any biller/s enrolled in Auto-Charge Facility, it will no longer be paid by your BDO Credit
Card. For utility biller/s enrolled directly with the merchant, please coordinate with them for disenrollment.

About your Credit Card Rewards Points:


• Should you wish to proceed with your cancellation request, we suggest that you redeem your earned
rewards points first. Please note that once your card has been cancelled, you may no longer be able to
redeem your earned rewards points. Moreover, transfer of rewards points from your cancelled card to your
other current/active BDO Credit Card account/s (if there’s any) will not be allowed.
You have 3 options to redeem:

o MAIL: BDO Service Fulfillment Unit 5 th Floor JMT Corporate Condominium 27 ADB Ave., Ortigas Center, Pasig
City.
NOTE: Visit BDO website at www.bdo.com.ph to view various items and vouchers that you can exchange with
your rewards points. You may download the Redemption Form online and send the request via fax or as instructed
on the website.

• You may send the Card Cancellation Form upon receipt of confirmation that your rewards item is ready for
delivery or points has been transferred.

• For ShopMore MasterCard cardholders with SMAC, you may continue to use your SMAC and coordinate
with SM once the card expires.

Lastly, all cancelled cards may be reactivated within 6 months from the time of cancellation.

For us to process your request, please complete and legibly fill-out the attached form and submit a photocopy of your credit
card (please mask the first 6 digits of credit card number) or valid ID. For clarifications, please call us at 631-8000.
