TENDER NOTICE FOR LEASING OUT OF BRAKE VAN (SLRs) OF 4 TONNES SPACE
Tender Notice No. U/C.206/SLR LEASING/2015-16/II dated 11.01.2016.
Sealed tenders are invited from “Registered Leaseholders of Madurai Division” for leasing out of
Brake Vans (Front/Rear SLRs) for 85 BG Express/Passenger trains for a period of three years. The tender
details are furnished below:

for each Reserve Price available in the Tender document

Three years for all trains. The contract will be reduced
Period of contract if offer rate quoted by bidder is below the Reserve
Prices for trains classified under ‘S’ scale.
Rs.1, 145/-(inclusive of all taxes) for SLR for each 4
Cost of Tender form tonnes space.
Date and time of commencement 10.00 hours of 13.01.2016. Tender forms can be either downloaded
of downloading/sale of tender from website or obtained from the office of The Divisional Railway
forms Manager (Commercial), Southern Railway, Madurai 625 016.
Eligibility to participate in the tender Only “B” category Registered Leaseholders” of
Madurai Division.
Registration fee for B category
registered lease holder Rs.50,000/- for SLR of 4 tonnes.
Earnest Money to be deposited
(EMD) Rs.1,00,000/- for SLR of one 4 tonnes space each .
Banker’s Cheque or Demand Draft (it should be enclosed along with
tender form) drawn in favour of Sr.Divisional Finance Manager,
Mode of deposit of Earnest money Southern Railway, Madurai-16.
Amount equivalent to 10 days lump sum leased freight
at accepted rate or a minimum amount of Rs.1,00,000/-
Security Deposit whichever is higher in the form of Bank guarantee
/FDR.
Last date for sale/downloading of 15.02.2016 up to 17.00 hours
