2019 PEANUT ACREAGE ESTIMATE - Planted area is estimated at 1.36 million acres in 2019, down 4 percent from 2018 and the
lowest planted area since 2014. Area for harvest is forecast at 1.32 million acres, down 3 percent from last year. In Georgia, the largest
peanut-producing State, planted area is down 10 percent from 2018. As of June 23, sixty-seven percent of the acreage was rated in
good to excellent condition, compared with 65 percent rated in these two categories at the same time last year

OTHER COMMODITIES – All cotton plantings are estimated at 13.7 million acres, 3 percent below last year. Corn acreage is UP
3 percent from last year to 91.7 million acres. Soybean acreage was estimated DOWN 10% to 80.0 million acres. Wheat acreage
was estimated at 45.6 million acres, DOWN 5% from last year, lowest all-wheat planted on record since 1919,
SELLING FORFEITED 2017 PEANUTS - Under the authority of 7 USC 1431, Disposition of Commodities to Prevent Waste, The
Commodity Credit Corporation (CCC) desires to exchange CCC-owned bulk peanuts for commercial peanut butter. The peanut
butter will be in 12/16 ounce containers, produced and packaged in accordance with USDA specification and destined for various US
locations. Bidders may submit offers for less than the quantity indicated. CCC may make award to multiple bidders to fulfill the
requested quantity. CCC may reject any or all offers.
CCC-owned bulk peanuts (75,294 farmer stock tons) are available for the exchange and will be released in-store at the
primary code and location listed on the catalog, using the factors shown on the warehouse receipt(s). Although CCC does not
guarantee the quality of the peanuts that will be loaded out, warehouse operators are obligated to deliver the total CCC receipt value of
peanuts represented on the warehouse receipt, based on the factors on the warehouse receipt.
CCC will not pay the load out charges. Prospective contractors are strongly urged to contact the storing warehouse operator
regarding scheduling, quality, and any applicable charges including fumigation and grading/inspection fees. The contractor will be
responsible for any fees that apply. CCC will pay storage on CCC-owned bulk peanuts through the date of the title transfer.
Bids are due Tuesday, July 16 at 4 PM CST. Delivery will be between January 2020 and September 30, 2020.

DELIVER DISASTER AID - U.S. Senators David Perdue (R-GA) and Johnny Isakson (R-GA) wrote to U.S. Agriculture Secretary
Sonny Perdue to encourage the Trump administration to work with the Georgia Department of Agriculture to ensure that farmers
affected by Hurricane Michael receive needed aid as soon as possible. They applauded Secretary Perdue for his support of disaster
aid legislation signed into law on June 6, 2019. The senators were joined in sending the letter by U.S. Representatives Buddy Carter
(R-GA-01), Sanford Bishop, (D-GA-02), Austin Scott (R-GA-08), Rick Allen (R-GA-12), and David Scott (D-GA-13). “We look
forward to working with the USDA to ensure that disaster aid is delivered in a timely and effective manner so that producers
affected by Hurricane Michael have the opportunity to rebuild their farms and livelihoods,” they wrote.

2) $385 pool contract, or 3) $375-$450 min max contract. Growers can sign up to two tons on any of the three options.
