APOSTLE’S FAST began in earnest on June 24th and
continues until the Feast of Saints Peter and Paul.
During this fasting period you are asked to obey the
rules of fasting and go to the Sacrament of Penance and
then receive Our Lord’s Body and Blood! Also do some
acts of kindness and read the Scriptures daily!
FEAST DAYS IN JULY:
SUNDAY: JULY 7TH: Feast Day of The Nativity of
Saint John the Baptist.
JULY 12th: Feast Day of Saints Peter and Paul.
HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY: Please take
advantage of the good weather and enjoy yourselves
whether down the shore, swimming in your pool or just
enjoying the summer with barbecues and laughter. This
is a great time of the year but most importantly
celebrate the holiday on July 4th and be thankful for our
independence which was given to us by our forefathers.
FLOWERS ARE NEEDED to decorate our outside
Church Sign! Can you help by donating money to help
defray the cost of these flowers. Please see Matushka
Ludmila at the candle desk to help beautify the front of
our church.
GENERAL CONFESSION will be held this month on
the first Sunday, July 7th beginning at 9:30 AM. All are
called to confess our sins as we know not when the
Good Lord will call us home to our Eternal reward! Be
Prepared!
SUMMER MONTHS are fast approaching and this
means so will our expenses for air conditioning! Please
be generous towards your church to cover these
expenses. Please see Matushka Ludmila at the candle
desk to help defray the cost of electricity.
DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS it is customary
for attendance to drop and with it the Sunday
Collections. What can you do to help us meet the bills
and expenses that keep on tabulating during July and
August. While you are away simply make a donation by
using Pay Pal on our church website. We have found
that this website is used by others and we are forever
grateful. If not we encourage you to help out in any way
you can. We would greatly appreciate your kindness
and generosity towards our monthly upkeep.
PLEA FOR NEW WHITE VESTMENTS: The clergy
of our Parish are in need of new white vestments.
Father John’s white vestments are frayed and tattered
and need to be replaced. We are thankful that some of
our parishioners found it in their hearts to donate for
the Gold Vestment Plea! You can donate them in the
memory of someone or just donate them for the good
health and welfare of a family member. Please let
Matushka Ludmila know of your intention if interested!

we have run out of Newsletter sponsors from August
until the end of the year! If you would like to sponsor
the Newsletter for a month the cost is only $50.00. We
would appreciate your help in sponsoring this great
initiative that has been a vital tool for our parish
coffers! If you would like to sponsor a month or two
