    Introduction

    This experiment aims to determine the total evaporable moisture content, total
    moisture content, bulk density, and void content of test samples of coarse and fine
    aggregates. The bulk density is used to determine the volume a mass of aggregates
    would occupy in a concrete mixture.

    Equipment

    1. Oven - A thermostatically controlled, drying oven capable of maintaining a


    temperature of 110 ± 5 °C (230 ± 9 °F) for drying the samples.

    Procedures
