1. Describe your best teacher colleague in terms of his/her physical and mental
appearances.
My best teacher colleague at my school is Mr. Arief
Widha Yuono. He is Javanese. He comes from Surabaya-
East of Java. Mr. Arief teaches English lesson for 8th
grade . He is about thirty six years old. He lives in
Bintaro, South of Jakarta.

He is tall like Indonesian man in generally and

sometimes he wears his glasses. He is also handsome.
He has short, straight, and black hair. Mr. Arief has
brown skin. His eyes are black. His dressing style is
always neat, so why he always performes well in front
of his students. He never comes late to school, he always comes on time every morning.

Mr. Arief is brilliant and smart person. He is very patient and friendly. He always finds the
easiest and attractive way in his teaching method to help the students understand about
the lesson. He is very welcome to all his students. When the students find some problem
about the lesson, they are never shy to ask him. That is why a lot of student like him very
much.

Mr. Arief is really the best teacher.

2. Write a historical recount of the school where you are currently teaching. For this
purpose, you can interview people who has knowledge of the school history; or,
examine relevant documents or artifacts for data to support your writing.

SMP YPI Bintaro was established about thirty

years ago. It was established in 1988 by Yayasan
Pendidikan Islam Cempaka Putih. It was located on
Jl. Rempoa Raya No. 1.B, Bintaro-Pesanggrahan,
South Of Jakarta – DKI Jakarta.
SMP YPI Bintaro, was built in 1988 by some
local community leaders who concerned about
education. They built the school in a land that owned by H. Maskup Ustianto plantation in
order to give chance for people to have education and live better though there weren’t legal
entity or statement at that time from the authorities.
Then, the school was developed continually. The school already had permanent
buildings with 15 classrooms, 1 students’ counseling room, 1 administration office, 1 teachers’
room, 1 principal room, 1 library, 1 mushola for Muslim to pray, 1 laboratory, toilets, and
school canteens. Using the fund from the government, the facilities of the school were also
developed to have good learning environment.
First, this school was led by Mr. Suparno, S.Pd, from 1988 to 2001, then led by Mr. Drs.
Sicuk Handoko, M. Pd, S.Pd from 2001 to 2006, Mrs. Dra. Sarliyah from 2006 s / d 2013 and by
Mr. Agus Muhaimin Aziz, M.Pd from 2016, and then Mrs. Dra. Sarliyah from 2017 until now
(2019). This school had passed thousands of alumni who have spread in various directions.
Someone them work in several government offices, become teachers at schools, and work in
some companies. SMP YPI Bintaro has a teacher as an adequate teaching staff and school
administration. 2 Civil Servant teachers, 9 non Civil Servant teachers and 4 staffs.
In teaching and learning activities, school also has extracurricular activities that can
develop the talents of students. The extracurricular activities are: Scouts, Volley ball, Football,
and Dance. I think SMP YPI Bintaro is a good school as good as other schools and will be one of
the parents’ choice to send their children to study at SMP YPI Bintaro.

about Yogurt which the brand is Yoplait with strawberry
lemonade flavor in it. The label also tells the Nutrition Facts
and the ingredients of the yoghurt

and cautions. Take a picture of the samples and explain the message contained in
each of them.
