QUOTATION
SUMMARY OF TERMS
1. Maintenance Portion: The maintenance rate is based on a maximum of N/A operating hours per
month.
2. Escalation: The maintenance rate subject to an 8% annual increase for the period.
3. Excluded from Full Service:
3.1 Forks, chains, wheels, tyres, battery and the reparation of damage to equipment caused by
the customer’s failure to comply with its duty of care, resulting from vandalism or accidents
resulting from improper treatment of equipment.
3.2 Extra hours.
3.3 Load testing of unit is available.
4. Ownership:
4.1 Under long term rental, Ownership shall at all times remain that of Jungheinrich.
4.2 Under Purchases, Ownership will pass to customer on full payment of invoice.
5. Payment:
5.1 Rental payments are to be paid monthly in advance.
5.2 Purchase invoice must be paid 7 days after delivery.
EXCHANGE RATE:
The prices are based on an exchange rate of €1 = R16.50
Any difference between the exchange rate quoted and the actual rate of the moment of invoicing will be for
the clients account.
Should you require forward cover, we shall do this against your written request at the time of order
placement. The forward cover will take out by Jungheinrich SA on your behalf, and the rate will be fixed
based on the estimated time of delivery. Any difference between the forward rate and that quoted above
will be for the clients account.
Warranty period: 12 months or 1200 working hours whatever comes first.
