2. Alll sidewalks, walkways, and roadways must remain unobstructed to allow for the
reasonable usc of these areas by pedestrians, vehicles and other park visitors.

EVENT OVERVIEW: Approximately (100-500) participants will assemble on the Washington
Monument Grounds-Northwest Quadrant-Southwest Comer, to conduct a First-amendment
demonstration “to show opposition of politicization of July 4" (Independence Day) by
President.” Activity will involve speeches, the distribution of free literature and the display of a
cold-air inflatable “Baby Trump” balloon. Additional activities may include a male bathing suite
contest, an open mic and poetry readings. Permittee has indicated that MAGA Presidential
supporters may attempt to disrupt the activity. Permittee has also indicated that civil
smonstration.

NOTE: On Thursday, July 4, 2019, the National Mall, 14" Street to the Lincoln Memorial
area will be secured. All vehicles and persons will enter through checkpoints to access this
area. Access for logistic vehicles carrying equipment must enter at 17" and Constitution
‘Avenue, NW. Set up involving logistical vehicles must be completed prior to 6:00 a.m. At 6:00
a.m. all persons and vehicles must leave the Washington Monument grounds. A security sweep
of the area will take place. At the conclusion of the sweep, at approximately 9:30 a.m.-10:00
a.m, the checkpoints will be re-opened for individuals (no vehicles) to enter. At the conclusion
of the fireworks and once the majority of the crowd has left the area, at approximately (10:00
p.m.-Midnight) vehicles will be permitted to return to the Washington Monument grounds, to
up equipment. Persons and equipment are subject to search.
No activity associated with this permit can be conducted within the base of the Washington
Monument. No set up permitted within the vehicle barrier system.
Accessing the closed/fenced construction site on the Washington Monument grounds is
prohibited.
All equipment, including props, must be readily available for inspection by U.S. Park
Police and/or National Park Service personnel at all times.
GENERAL CONDITION:
Permittee and all participants authorized therein must comply with all of the conditions of this
permit and with all reasonable directions of the National Park Service and United States Park
Police personnel.
The Permittee shall require all employees and/or contractors to exercise all normal and
reasonable safety precautions and to protect park visitors and property. Suitable devices such as
barricades, fences, lanterns, etc. necessary for employee and public safety, shall be provided and
adequately maintained.
Permittee will provide an on-site coordinator to be accessible to the National Park Service and
the United States Park Police personnel at all times during construction or set-up activities and
during dismantling of facilities post-event.
Throughout the course of this permit, the Permittee, its contractors and agents are responsible for
taking all necessary precautions to minimize resource damage throughout the permitted area. In
addition, Permittee must supervise their contractors and employees during set-up and teardown
to assure that there is no damage to park resources.
