Mystery Shopper Experience_ Chacha peru

Aroma of Makhni Handi continuously increased my appetite. It’s the third time
when I order desi food from Chacha peeru_a desi cuisine outlet. if you are desi
food lover, do visit it because some desi food items can compel you to visit again.

Chacha peeru is a place in Mall of Multan, 4th floor. Overall place and ambiance
is bit noisy, I have to clear my vocal before talking. While outlet does not provide
any sitting plan, it is offered by mall.

Products of the outlet divided in different sectors like Handi, Chatkharey, Karhai,
platter, Delicious, Tea & Kehwa. But I like most their Handi as it has perfect spices
& juicy meat. However, during 2nd visit of Chacha peru, I ordered special Thalli
having two Naan, rice, fried fish pieces, chicken Handi, Chicken ginger, Achar,
kabab & two soft drinks. It’s enough for two people. And what I do not like was
strawberry lassi. I was expecting much from it but when I received, very thin liquid
just having strawberry essence. However, everything was neatly cooked.

In my opinion they are reluctant about their pricing or might they are unaware
how to capture the customer psychology regarding price. Mostly their figures are
rounded of as they charging Rs. 100 for their salad instead they can use Rs. 99.
But still their quality matches with price. I consider it pocket friendly for middle
class families because another outlet DELLY BELLY in the same mall is charging
very high price. Makhni Handi which I ordered in my 3rd visit is Rs. 1175 on chacha
peru but the same handi is Rs. 1300 on DELLY BELLY. Mode of payment they use is
Cash; they do not provide credit or debit card facility which I consider their
negative point.

As such Chacha peru is not adopting any promotional strategy it has a Facebook
page on which it upload its some dishes, menu with prices & some discount
deals, however it is also registered on food panda offering free home & office
delivery service. The outlet yet; does not make any loyal customers by their
publicity. Most of the customers are those which basically come to visit the mall
but not specially the meal of their outlet. Very 1st time when I visited the mall I
attract towards chacha peru outlet for their heavy lighting, they use bright LED
which can easily attract customer attention.

Time lag between order and service of food was 20-25 minutes. I ordered at 6:45
pm and when food was presented it was about 7:08 pm. Overall process of
cooking was satisfactory. Kitchen was at the back side of the outlet. One
deficiency which was obvious, the deficiency of waiters which guide customers
about menu and to take orders, customers have to visit themselves to inform
sales team about their order.

As I visited chacha Peru as mystery shopper so my first & foremost try was to get
detail insights of their overall cooking process. For this reason when I talk to their
management team they refuse clearly. Sales girl stuck into argument with me in
this matter, her behaviour was very rude and inappropriate. Thus, impression of
management team was bad. Moreover there was no proper arrangement to
dispose of the waste, no dustbin was there.
