the Holy Spirit of God in their lives with a triumphant change in their faith.

LOAY Y.E 1 TESTIMONIES

Namae Ann Abero

"In a dark room there is only one candle, a candle that changed our lives." At first, I was
seeking of something that I don’t even know. Something that can make me feel
complete and renew. Something that can't be replaced by any material in this world.
Something that can make me conquer my fears and doubts in life. Something that I’ve
been longing for too long. And that "something" was answered when I joined the Y.E in
Loay. That something is to be closer to Jesus, being a good servant and a follower.
That something made me realize that I have a mission in life in order for me to feel
complete, renew and have courage to face all the hindrances that I might take. Yes, I
maybe in PYM, LSYM and YFC but I know something is missing just like a puzzle. In
joining Y.E I already find my purpose in life. Why do I exist? Why I was there in Y.E?
Why did I suddenly become active in any youth organizations? It’s because God used
me as his instrument to spread the good news. God has a purpose why I handle
Christian living and religion subject even though it is not my major. He used me to let
the students/youth see how wonderful to be in God's kingdom. And I willingly accept it
for it is my duty as a child of God. I’m so blessed that I was part of the Y.E, it is such a
good opportunity for me to become a good youth in this country. The Y.E became a
battle ground for me. After joining Y.E something has change in me and I can really feel
it. I will do everything to make this generation a better person that they could be. Well I
don’t believe that Youth is the Future for Youth is today. We can’t do better in the future
if we're not doing ANYTHING TODAY.

First and foremost, my feelings about the said event was mixed it feels like I’m so
happy, I’m nervous and fearful. But at the end of the encounter, my mind, my heart and
my soul changed a lot. I was became the role model of our classroom and in our home
at same time. My friends directly said to me that after the YE i was fully changed to the
extent nga instead mag "buang, and any bad words" akong malitok everytime i did
mistakes, all inside my mouth is JESUS, GOD, HEAVEN and so on. I know how to
control my anger, i know how to separate things the bad and good and most especially,
i wasn't the old me after the encounter. I’m just too blessed and grateful that i was been
part of the said event. So happy and everything was perfect
