1. our first step should be public
awareness regarding exploitation of
water, because it is rightly said that
we are stronger together than we are
alone. we need to produce a spark to
create a fire. we need to collect
people willing to give their time and
effort in achieving the agenda of
2030. we’ll also have to villages
because those are the areas most
affected by water scarcity

my next step was to know how can i

contribute for the achievement of
this goal. fortunately, i got to travel
to different places in the holidays
and hence i observed a lot. i saw
how carelessly water was being
treated in restaurants, at my own
house, and people didnt even leave
the rivers alone!
during my time in haridwar, i
observed people throwing wastes in
the holy river of ganga. seeing how
the holiness of the river didnt stop
people from misusing it, i decided to
do my case study on it.
this project .
during this project, i came across
many eye opening facts on water
hygiene and conservation, which has
now raised an urge in me to work on
clean water and water conservation.

this project is about the The 2030

Agenda for Sustainable
Development, adopted by all United
Nations Member States in 2015,
provides a shared blueprint for peace
and prosperity for people and the
planet, now and into the future. At its
heart are the 17 Sustainable
Development Goals (SDGs), which
are an urgent call for action by all
countries - developed and
developing - in a global partnership.
keeping in mind the 2030 agenda
this project also puts stress on the
conservation and cleanliness of
water, as being residents of the
millennium city, we do observe a lot
of wastage and contamination of
water.
since the problem of contamination
of water is not limited to gurgaon, a
case study is on the organization
working on the pollution of river
ganga, one of the largest rivers of
india,and hence sdg6 , has also been
provided

conclusion
Clean water scarcity has become one
of the big problems in India and
other countries all over the world
affecting people’s lives in many
ways. This big problem cannot be
solved alone or only a group of some
people, it is the problem which needs
global efforts of people together.
and that’s where the agenda2030 for
sustainable development comes in.
