human feels. He has
mind, will and emotion
just as human.

 In the Old Testament, the Lord said:
“Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one! You
shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all
your soul, and with all your strength.”
Deuteronomy 6:4-5, NKJV

But in the New Testament, Lord Jesus taught us to love the Lord
your God:
“… with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all
your mind.” Matthew 22:37, NKJV

Lord Jesus added one intangible element, which is to love the

In our daily living, we can find two groups of Christians: those

who live by faith and those who live by their own mind/ rational
thinking.

In our daily lives, there are more people who trust in their own
rational thinking or mind than faith, because using our mind is
much easier. Be careful!! Many people take wrong steps and
become far away from God because they use their own mind
without aligning it to God’s will. How are we supposed to use
our mind?

with God. Doctors said that he
would die at 54. However, after His
supernatural experience with God,
Rockefeller went on to live longer
until the age of 98.
Be ready for an encounter with
God. An encounter with God may
not always be spectacular, but it is
always supernatural.
Look up, look around us with
spiritual eyes, and look within us.
There is not a crisis that God cannot
turn around. God is able to restore
everything. Let God open the eyes
of our heart so that we are able to
see that miracles are on the way.

after sowing, but wait upon God in holiness. What we have sown
will be rooted. They will also grow and bear fruits for the glory of
God. God is the guarantor of those whose hope and trust is on
the Word of God.

God is the guarantor for those who put his trust in

the word of God.

The word “to seek” is a verb, and “to seek” is an action that we

it consistently. When we seek God, surely He will be pleased to

And for those who seeks the Lord, God will reveal His secret, His

heartbeat, His mind and His plan so that we can understand many

things in our life. Let us being more persistent in seeking God,

and God will touch our lives and give us understanding.

To be able to encounter God and close to Him, we need effort,

persevering and persistence.

that every guidance from God will bring goodness in our life.
Therefore, let us build the habit of reading the word of God daily.
Let us understand that every time we read the word of God, God
is talking to us and we are led to come into His perfect plan for us.

The word of God is God’s own desire, mind, feeling and plan.

First of all we have to believe that God is exist and He is the

not believe in God, and that’s why they don’t believe in the Bible,
especially the book of Genesis which tells us about the story
of creation. And neither do those who believe in the theory of
evolution. In the book of Hebrew 11:3 it is said: “By faith we
understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so
that the things which are seen were not made of things which
are visible”.
Because of faith, someone can believe in the creation story in
the book of genesis. And faith is God’s grace for us.

I believe that God has a purpose in His creation. The word of

God says that God is love and that (agape) love needs to be
shared. To whom? To us. And that’s why we are created in His
image (Genesis 1:26) How wonderful, amazing, organized and
perfect is the creation of God who creates us for His purpose! In
Psalm 104 we can read about God’s greatness in all His creation.

So if we grasp the idea and understand how we are loved by

God through His creation, especially because God gave His one
and only son Jesus Christ who died for the redemption of our sin
(consequences of sin that was firstly started in Genesis 3), what
else do we need as a proof of His love to us? Romans 8 : 35 says
“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation,
or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or
sword?”

Let’s remain to stay in His love.

Faith is God’s grace to us.

The Power Of Sin

Genesis 4 6
In the book of Genesis 3, we read about the first death in the
world ever, that is Abel, who was killed by his own brother Cain.
The root cause of the murder is simple, because of “jealousy”
(Genesis 4:5). The power of sin didn’t stop over there. In Genesis
6 we read how the wickedness of man was great on the earth,
and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil
continually (verse 5). And the Lord was sorry that He had made
man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart (verse 6). And
therefore God decided to destroy man from the face of the earth
for He is sorry that He had made them.
We may think that God is cruel with His decision. But no, God is
not cruel, He is the God who is full of love, but He is also a just
God. How could he destroy man that was created according to
His own image? The man that He loves so much? Because of sin,
God made this difficult decision.
Thankfully, in the situation when wickedness was great, God found
Noah, the only person that could please God’s heart because
Noah’s life was righteous and without blemish. The name Noah
means “the son of consolation”.
We are also living in almost similar condition or even worse than
the times of Noah, where wickedness of man was so great. If
in Noah’s time God was able to find someone that can please
His heart, may He is also able to find us - who have received
and known the love of God - to be His “consolation”, Let us live
righteously and without blemish.
He is the God who is full of love, but He is also a just God.

The Power Of Worship

Genesis 7–9
Because of faith, Noah obeyed God to build the ark according
to God’s guidance, and with the ark Noah and his family were
saved from the big flood (Romans 1:7). I believe during the
construction of the ark, Noah faced a lot of obstacles and
difficulties. Can we imagine how Noah brought the wood
and big blocks to build the body of the ark when crane was
not introduced in Noah’s time? And moreover he needed to
connect all the blocks and wood one by one. It takes a lot of
perseverance and extra patience. No wonder the Bible says
that Noah took 120 years to complete the ark.
I do believe that Noah had to face mocking and negative
comments from his neighbors. If only Noah didn’t set his heart
to obey God, he may not be able to complete the ark. After
the water receded from the earth after the flood, the first thing
that Noah did was not something concerning his condition or
his family or his livestock. instead of doing all of these things,
he built an altar to The Lord and offered a burnt offering on the
altar that pleased God. Because of Noah’s obedience and faith,
God made a covenant that He will never again destroy man
(Genesis 8:21). Until now we can see the evidence that although
the imagination of man’s heart is evil and the wickedness of
man increases, God keeps His promise.
Our sacrifice needs to be offered righteously, it will be pleasing
to God and He will bless us.
Because of Noah’s obedience and faith, his family and
himself received grace from God!
