Dolphins are mammals, not fish. They are warm blooded like man and give birth
to one baby, at a time, called a calf.
At birth, a bottlenose dolphin calf is about 90–130 centimeters long and will
grow to

They are highly sociable animals, living in groups, called pods, which are
fairly fluid, with dolphins from other pods interacting with each other from time to
time.
Dolphins carry their young in their wombs for about 12 months. The baby is
born tail first, and its mother will feed the calf for up to 2 years.
However, the calf will stay with its mother for between 3 and 6 years, during
which time it will learn all about feeding techniques, social interaction and group

Have you ever seen cenderawasih? What do you think? Are they beautiful?
Well, cenderawasih are members of the birds of paradise family, or
Paradisaeidae, which probably evolved on the island of New Guinea. The family
is comprised of 43 species, 38 of which are found mainly or entirely in New
Guinea. Two species are found only in the Moluccas Islands to the west of New
Guinea and four others are found mainly in northeastern Australia.
The birds of paradise have a crow-like body shape, with strong feet and bill.
However, some species do not have this basic pattern. For example, the
sicklebills have evolved a long, curved beak, to probe for insects in thick moss
and tree bark.
The birds build their nests in forks of trees, using leaves, twigs and other plant
materials. The nests are cup-shaped. Females lay one or two eggs and the eggs
will hatch between 17 and 21 days. The young birds remain in the nest for 17–30
days.
