If you want to add specific people to you Lumion library, then Michael Brightman gives a nice overview
of how to do that here.
If you want to import a lot of your favorite objects into Lumion in one go, there’s a neat way to do this:
Open the ‘Lumion 6.5′ folder and then the ‘library’ folder.
Open the library folder and create a new folder. Name it something convenient for your purposes. In this
example, the new folder has been named “My Favorite Objects”
If you now open Lumion and navigate to the imported object category - highlighted yellow rectangles in
the screenshot below.
Click on the ‘select object tab’ and you will see numbered tabs appear at the top of the the screen. If you
hover your mouse over the newest tab - number 2 in this example (screenshot below, tab highlighted in
blue), you will see the name of the folder you just created. If there are any 3D models in this folder, they
will all be shown.
It’s as easy as that to create your own object library in Lumion.
Remember that it is also possible to create your own object favorites in each object category. In the
screenshot below, the mouse is hovering above a tree in the nature library. Notice there is a yellow star
in the top left corner of the thumbnail picture. This indicates that the star was just clicked and that this
object is now in the favorite selection. This favorites section can be accessed by clicking the tab at the
top with a star on it - highlighted with a blue rectangle in the example below.
Click on the favorites tab (see screenshot below) and you will find all your favorites gathered together
and easily available for you.
