certiorari before the Court of Appeals (CA), two petitions for annulment of
title before the Regional Trial Court (RTC), a petition for annulment of
judgment before the RTC and lastly, a petition for declaratory relief before
the RTC (collectively, subject cases) to assail and overturn the final
judgments of the Metropolitan Trial Court (MeTC) and RTC in the unlawful
detainer case… ha! That should do the trick

Conrado Que: Atty, mayfinile nanaman daw pong kaso sina Atty. Revilla sa
RTC

Counsel: Ano? Eh nadismiss na yung certiorari niya sa CA ah! Pinatulan na

nga lang natin siya sa dalawang annulment of title cases niyang dinismiss
din ng RTC nung nakaraan; dapat nga hindi na kasi bawal yun. Ano pa daw
bang gusto nila?

Conrado: Eh Atty, declaratory relief daw po sabi nung secretarya ninyo.

Tapos may application pa daw po ng injuctive relief ba yon? Dun daw po sa
mga iba’t-ibang korte na pinagsamapahan niya ng kaso dati.

Counsel: Aba gago pala to eh! Sobrang dupang na ng forum shopping ng

kupal na yon!

Complainant: Ano pong gagawin natin Atty? Wala na ho kaming pera para
pampamasahe kada may hearing, pati ho pambayad sa inyo wala na…

Counsel: Wag ho kayong mag-alala, Sir. Ipapadisbar na natin yang ugok na

Resolution No. XVII-2005-164 dated December 17, 2005 and Resolution No.
XVII-2008-657 dated December 11, 2008 of the Board of Governors of the
IBP Committee on Bar Discipline insofar as respondent Atty. Anastacio
Revilla, Jr. is found liable for professional misconduct for violations of Rules 12.02
and 12.04, Canon 12. However, we modify the penalty the IBP imposed, and
hold that the respondent should be DISBARRED from the practice of law.
