Why are you applying for Financial Aid?

I am currently student of Information Technology at Jadavpur University, Kolkata,
India. My family can't afford my studies as we barely earn what can help us to eat
and live without the need for anyone else's help. My father's income is very low.
We are a family of three brothers. My parents are supporting us financially and
also my grandparents. This financial assistance will help me save a lot of money as
50$ is too much for to pay for each course. I would like to take this course on
Coursera with financial aid so that will allow me to save for my post-graduate and
my social life to help my future family. I hope your assistance will help me do
more for my future. I hope you will try to understand my problem and allow
financial aid which is very important for me at this stage of my career.

How will taking this course help you achieve your career goals? (150 words minimum
required)
I am interested in studying Computer Science. I am planning to specialize in
software engineering. So I need this specialization so that it can help me advance
my career in this direction and be more expert in my field. My goal is to finish my
current undergraduate studies in Information Technology at Jadavpur University and
find a scholarship to continue my post-graduate studies at one of the top world
universities. A verified certificate would help me to make my CV and resume stand
out in front of my other colleagues. Also companies here in India are more
interested in verified certificate especially from online platform like edx and
Coursera which proves to them that the candidate has the skills of self-learning
and self discipline which can help me financially and give me more experience as I
might get hired from one of the companies working either in India or abroad. To
conclude a verified certificate would be a great asset in my CV and resume and
will improve my career and it will also help me to find good opportunities to
continue my post-graduate studies in one of the abroad top world universities.

Are you interested in loan?

As I've already mentioned that the financial condition of my family is not very
stable, so I don't think I want to add another burden of education loan on their
shoulders.
