On June 26, 2019, the Xavier community will celebrate the Red Mass to welcome the
new school year. The Mass will be presided by Fr. Arman Samonte, S.J., a newly-
ordained priest who used to be part of the Xavier School community as a CLE teacher.
1. Attire
Grade School students: red shirt or Xavier School polo, khaki pants, rubber
shoes
High School students: red shirt or Xavier School polo, black pants, black shoes
2. Mass Offering
To make the Offertory more meaningful, we request for donations of school
supplies, which will be shared with the different institutions below.
Your son may bring any of the following items, as specified by grade level:
Grades 4, 5, 6 – ballpens, pencils, simple sharpeners, erasers, simple pencil
case
Grades 7, 8 – crayons, glue, scissors (for art class), watercolors
Grades 9, 10 – folders (long and short), brown envelopes (long and short),
plastic envelopes (long and short), art paper
Grades 11, 12 – notebooks (for elementary or high school), pad paper (for
primary and intermediate)

Compassionate Franciscan Sisters of the Poor Apostolate

Donations can be placed in the boxes stationed at Gates 4, 9, and 14 starting June
25, 2019.
As one Xavier community, let us all gather together our prayers for those who may not
have as much school resources as we do and for another meaningful school year.
