What is Quantitative Aptitude?

The quantitative aptitude test measures the numerical ability and accuracy in
mathematical calculations. The questions range from purely numeric calculations
to problems of arithmetic reasoning, graph and table reading, percentage analysis,
categorization and quantitative analysis.

Why are aptitude tests used?

Aptitude tests are used as diagnostic or identifying tools. The score you get
will tell your prospective employer whether you are compatible with the job they
advertised or not, and if so to what extent you can be trainable to be a close-to-
perfect employee. Since the aptitude tests are recognized as a highly accurate
means to pinpoint fit of skills and ability, your score will be counted as an
important component of the overall score in the selection process.

In the philosophy of Immanuel Kant, logical reasoning represents judgments

made upon statements that are based on the virtue of the statement's own content.
No particular experience, beyond an understanding of the meanings of words used,
is necessary for logical reasoning.

Why are logical reasoning test used?

Logical reasoning is universal and it is used in every form of reasoning, in

every job, in every field every day. So if you have good logical reasoning skills
you should be able to apply this everywhere. Better developed logical reasoning
skills make you able to understand, analyze, and to question arguments based on
statements or questions. These skills are in general used to identify clues that make
an argument weaker, or to recognize a particular assumption.
