 Spot Healing Brush Tool
• This is an especially helpful tool that
is new starting in Photoshop. It is
used to remove dust marks and
scratches from photographs.

specific brush that you will be use in
you editing.
2. Painting Mode This is where you can
choose or change the painting move
of your photograph or image. You
can choose from Normal, Replace,
Multiply, Screen, Darken, Lighten,
Color and Luminosity.

capability to proximate the
texture or color of the
selected reference point.

4. Create Texture -This will allow

the user in creating or setting
their own texture that can be
use in their photograph or
image.

5. Content Aware-Allows the

computer to automatically
generate the texture that is part
of the photograph. The
automatic texture generation is
based on the brush position in
the image.

Steps in using Spot Healing
Brush Tool
 Application
1. Open an image of the baby that you want to
enhance or edit.
2. Click Spot Healing Brush Tool in Toolbar on
the right side or you can just press the letter
J in the keyboard.
 Application
3. On the top Toolbar you must set this
settings:
a. Brush Picker: You must set you desire
Size, Hardness and Spacing of your Brush.
b. Mode: Normal
c. Type: Content-Aware
 Application
4. Place your mouse pointer in the area
that you want to edit or remove
5. Then click the left mouse. (As you can
see once you click the left mouse in the
area that you want to edit or remove you
can see its effect immediately.

Please turn on your computer and open the Adobe Photoshop
CS6 Extended application.
1. Using Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extend to make a comparison
collage of two picture: Each student creates a collage two
picture which shows the before and after of an image that you
have been editing.

student creates a poster of your edited picture.
