CLASH OF QE’s – War Book

CLASH OF QE’s: Code War Section

Once you login to QA2QE E-Box platform and navigate to the home page, you will find a section titled “CLASH OF QE’s”, to the right
of Summary section. This is referred to as ‘Code War’ section. The war diary will provide a snapshot of the next 3 code wars that you
need to complete in your QA2QE journey. This section will also enable a link to Cognizant LMS, for you to enroll into a skill war (once
you become eligible/ ready to take the skill war). This is because skill cars can only be attempted via Cognizant VDI infra.

Click ‘Enter War Zone’ to get into the battlefield.

There are 2 types of wars to be fought in this journey - Knowledge War and Skill War.
Knowledge War: In Knowledge War, your opponent will be a Multiple Choice Question paper. You have to identify the correct
option(s) for each question.
 You will have only 3 attempts to win the Knowledge war.
 You will need to take 7 days break (cooling period) between each attempt.
 Your winning score will be 70%
 You can wage the knowledge war anywhere anytime from within the E-Box platform

Skill War: In Skill War, you will have to solve a problem/ case study.
 You will have only 3 attempts to win the Skill war.
 You will need to take 14 days break (cooling period) between each attempt.
 Your winning score will be 60%
 You can wage the skill war only from a Cognizant Virtual Desk Infra (VDI) environment. You need to first enroll for the war, block a
VDI and then fight it out
 Clicking on the appropriate links against ‘Skill code war’ will take you to Cognizant LMS system for enrollment into the code war.
Only when you submit an enrollment, your request will be processed and you will be allocated a VDI for taking the code war

CLASH OF QE’s: War Zone

The ‘War Zone’ page, as you see below is divided into two sections.
 On the left side, you will see a vast land area divided into several territories.
 On the right side, you will see the list of all code wars (Knowledge/ Skill) that you need to complete as part of the cluster you are
nominated to.
e.g. In the screenshot below, the associate is part of “Complete Technical (Java)”. Hence the skills included in the war zone are
Oracle, Core Java & JDBC, JUnit, JavaScript, Servlet & JSP, Spring MVC and Subversion.

Sequencing of War(s)
1. When you log into the platform, you will have only the knowledge war of the first skill in ‘You are ready for the war’ status. You
can see in the above picture that ‘Oracle Knowledge War’ is ‘war ready’ while the subsequent wars are in ‘Not yet war ready’
status.
2. If you want to, you can take the knowledge war of the first skill (e.g. Oracle) straight away. There are no strings (pre-requisites)
attached to the knowledge war of the first skill. For taking skill war of any skill (e.g. Oracle), you should have completed
o Knowledge war of that skill
o Mandatory Learn to Code and Code Challenge problems of that skill
3. For taking wars of subsequent skills, skill war of the previous skill should have been completed. E.g. in this case, you can take
Core Java & JDBC Knowledge War or Core Java & JUnit skill war only if you have completed Oracle skill war
