F. LESSONS LEARNED

 There should be proper planning of activities as early as January since Brigada


Eskwela is scheduled every month of May and Documentation should be taken
cared off.

 The Brigada Eskwela in Lapuyan National High School added a new meaning to
the Filipino concept of unity. It brings to us a real picture of people from different
sectors of local communities repainting of roofs, walls and fences, cleaning the
surroundings and classrooms. We learned that spirit of Bayanihan should be
institutionalized in our school.

 Some activities were not addressed because most of the volunteers were
females and they do not have the skills to perform such activities like carpentry
and masonry for minor repair.

G. SUGGESTIONS TO STRENGTHEN BRIGADA ESKWELA PROJECT

Brigada Eskwela is a permanent program of Department of Education aims to foster


understanding among all sectors of society that the education of the Filipino people is
the responsibility of everyone. Therefore, in order to strengthen the Brigada
implementation project this further suggests:

 Invites more skilled workers in the community to volunteer and participate in


Brigada Eskwela Project.
 Engage the Local Government Unit to support Brigada Eskwela project.
 Initiate activities that fosters spirit of volunteerism and motivates communities
to join Brigada Eskwela like medical outreach.
 Plan the implementation of the project together with the teachers, PTA, SGC and
SSG.
 Ensures all the materials needed will be provided.
