The highlight of the Northeast District Conference for us was our ordination service together. This was a powerfully spiritual moment for us as we stood together and hands were laid on us with prayer recognizing and confirming our call by God to ministry.

A Busy Month in the U.S.

On October 2 we arrived in Boston from Nizhny Novgorod and spent the night in New Hampshire with our daughter ʼ s family.

DENVER and NEBRASKA Fifteen hours later we flew out of Boston to Denver, Colorado in order to attend the

Gateway District Foursquare conference for three days. Upon completion of the conference we relaxed for 2

days. One of the perks for us of coming to the Gateway District is being able to stay with our daughter, Jessica and her family.

We then drove from Denver, CO to North Platte, Nebraska where we were hosted by pastor Dave Holland and his wife Jonie. Dave is senior pastor of Lighthouse Foursquare Church in North Platte. We spoke in the church on Sunday, sharing about our work in Russia. This was a short, but wonderful time for us. Much too quickly we had to repack and headed back to Denver were we spent another two days with our daughter, son-

in-law and grandson. This was precious time for us since we see them so rarely.

NEW JERSEY On the 13th of October we flew back to Boston and the next morning we drove with pastors Jason and Mary Grace Debow to Jersey City, New Jersey in order to attend the Northeast District Foursquare conference.

We had a great time seeing many people whom we knew and meeting new friends. The highlight of the conference for us was our ordination service together. This was a powerfully spiritual moment for us as we stood together and hands were laid on us with prayer recognizing and confirming our call by God to ministry.

MIDWEST After 3 days of “rest” we packed again and flew to Indianapolis, Indiana. This trip to the midwest was dual purpose. One reason was to reconnect with Michael ʼ s family which we had not seen for many years. The other purpose for being out here was to attend the Heartland District Foursquare conference. We borrowed a car and drove from New Castle, Indiana to Decatur, IL. The conference was joyful and energizing.

We had a bit of unexpected excitement during the conference as a small tornado came through during the night and ripped off a piece of the church. We were told that our display table was shown in the evening news when the local news station came to film the damage.

While there we had the joy of meeting and staying with Art & Goldie Gomez, a couple who have faithfully ministered for Christ within the Foursquare movement for over 60 years. We

really appreciated their hospitality and friendship.

CALIFORNIA As we write this newsletter we are back in New Castle, Indiana. We will be here for another week, speaking in the New Castle Foursquare Church and then on the 5th of November we fly to Los Angeles, CA to attend a two week training session with Foursquare Missions International. We will also be speaking in churches in the LA area. Another task will be meeting with Foursquare Missions press. We will be discussing the distribution of Russian language literature which Foursquare Missions Press has printed as well as strategizing the possibility of several joint publishing efforts to provide Bibles and theological books for the Russian church.

We appreciate your prayers for us as we travel.

We would ask that you pray for open doors of opportunity

The financial resources which we need to cover the cost of all our travels

We also need wisdom and again,

Financial resources for the publishing projects which we hope to complete.

We have a need for $5000 to publish theology books

and $15,000 to purchase study Bibles for Russian pastors and leaders.

Thank You to all who pray for us and financially support our work. We could not be here without you.
