Protect•IR®
Multispectrum IR Flame Detector
X3301
Important
Be sure to read and understand the entire
instruction manual before installing or operating
the flame detection system. Any deviation from
the recommendations in this manual may impair
system performance and compromise safety.
ATTENTION
The X3301 includes the Automatic Optical Integrity
(oi) feature — a calibrated performance test that
is automatically performed once per minute to
verify complete detector operation capabilities. No
testing with an external test lamp is required.

NOTE
FM Approvals minimum requirements are
response distance measurements at 0° (on
axis) and the limits of the field of view. These
high resolution field of view diagrams show the
measured response distances at all the indicated
angles in the horizontal plane.
