TONE, MOOD and AUTHOR’S PURPOSE

In reading a text/literary piece, one can see what the author’s attitude is
about the subject of the article. This feeling of the author is called TONE.

Here are the words that describe tone:

MOOD is the general atmosphere of the text created through the author’s
