SUMMARY, CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

This chapter presents the summary of the findings, the

conclusions drawn based on the findings and the recommendations

suggested by the researcher of the study.

Summary

This research study was conducted to determine the ways of

expanding the income of small businesses in Calaca,

Batanagas, the cause and effect of increasing the income.

Specifically, this study aimed to answer the following

questions:

1. What is the profile of the selected sole proprietors in terms of?

A. Age

B. Gender

C. Civil status

2. What are the benefits of increasing the income of sole proprietors in Calaca,

Batangas?

3. What are the causes of increasing the income of the selected sole proprietors

in Calaca Batangas?

4. What are the effective ways of increasing the income of the selected sole

proprietors in Calaca, Batangas?

The respondents engaged in this study were 60 small business

owners in Calaca, Batangas The researcher utilized the descriptive

method of research and used questionnaire as data-gathering

instrument. The percentage, weighted mean and t-test of significance

were applied in treating the data.

Findings

The benefits of increasing the income.

Based on the questionaire that we used in gathering data we came up

with the following findings Increasing of demand has a total frequency of 60 with

100% while Establishing new business has a total frequency of 55 with 91.67%.

Meanwhile 90 % of New opportunity of products and services has a total

frequency of 54 and the percentage of Bring more sales and profits Reduce

external risks is 88.33% and 51 respondents go agree to More credible and

stable. While Can avoid potential financial problem has the percentage of 75%

and Helps to keep you in a business has a total frequency of 44 with 73.33% and

Can reinvest your business has a total percentage of 73.33% also and 38

respondents go agree to Increases company value with 63.33%.

Causes of expanding the income.

Based on the gathered data, the factors that greatly affects the expansion

of income of small businesses in Calaca, Batangas are because it increases

outside fundings; it increases the demand and supply with the frequency of 57 or

95% of the respondents

Effective ways of expanding the income.

The data gathered using the questionaire utilized by the researchers to

determine the effective ways of expanding the income of small businesses in

Calaca, Batangas, led to the following findings; they should have good managing

decisions, a good business plan, a comprehensive data on marketing, control

and active follow up of their actions and good manipulation of inputs and outputs.

Conclusions

The following conclusions were drawn based on the highlights of

the findings:

1. Increasing the income of small businesses in Calaca has so

many benefits like:

2. Attracting outside fundings and forces of demand and supply greatly

affect the expansion of income having 95% of frequency in the survey

3. The most effective ways of expanding income are by having good

investment decision, having a well analyzed business plan, gathering

marketing data, control and follow up of actions and the proper

manipulation of inputs and outputs.

Recommendations

In the light of the findings of this study and the conclusions

drawn, the following recommendations were offered by the researcher:

1. This study can become a guide to business owners in order for

them to know the factors that affects sole proprietorship.

2. Students in taking business-related courses to serve as their

reference.
