Responsibilities • Understanding the Requirement Specifications
• Extraction of data from various sources using Informatica.
• Developed mappings, created tasks, sessions and
workflows.
• Transformations like Source Qualifier,
Connected/Unconnected Lookups, Aggregator, Expression,
Filter, Sequence Generator and Update Strategy are used
in mappings.
• Involved in developing ETL mappings to load data from flat
files into the target oracle database by applying business
logic on transformation mapping for inserting and updating
records.

Description Project is aimed at migrating data from different source systems

hosted on databases like IDMS, Oracle, Fox Pro, Flat files etc to
Siebel OLTP System. The Siebel OLTP data is migrated to Siebel
data warehouse.

• The initial extract from the mainframe data sources were

done with the help of Informatica PowerConnect for
mainframe sources.
• The data from the different source systems are extracted
to a Staging database hosted on Oracle.
• Extracted data is transformed and loaded to Siebel EIM
tables.
• The Siebel sever component, Enterprise Integration
Manager (EIM) is used to load the data into Siebel base
tables.
• Migration of Siebel OLTP data to data warehouse.
