superior girth-weld protection of pipelines working at
elevated operation temperatures up to 80°C. It shows
maximum compatibility with mainline coating, meeting
high requirements to avoid chemical corrosion, cathodic
disbondment and negative influences of UV irradiation.
Depending on a client’s needs and construction
requirements the sleeve can be installed with or without
epoxy primer.
The complete sleeve set consists of heat-shrinkable tape
of specific length, width and thickness, closure patch, and
epoxy primer. Tapes are supplied as precut sleeves or in
rolls.
Three Layer System
First layer: two component wet epoxy primer ensuring
highest resistance to CD.
Second layer: high peel strength hot-melt adhesive.
Third layer: radiation cross-linked HDPE providing tough
barrier to mechanical impacts.
