Beliefs

We believe God has called us to love one  So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have
another  loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to
the world that you are my disciples.
-John 13:34-35

We believe God has brought each teacher  Care for the flock that God has entrusted to you. Watch over it willingly, not
to our school  grudgingly—not for what you will get out of it, but because you are eager to
serve God. Don’t lord it over the people assigned to your care, but lead them by
your own good example.
-1 Peter 5:2-3

We believe God will equip each teacher   And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue
to do His work  his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.
-Philippians 1:3-6

We believe in Biblical community and  Therefore I, a prisoner for serving the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of
unity in Christ  your calling, for you have been called by God...Make every effort to keep
yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace. For
there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious
hope for the future.
-Ephesians 4:1-6

Behaviors

We pray for each teacher  Every time I think of you, I give thanks to my God. For you have been my
partners in spreading the Good News about Christ from the time you first
heard it until now. Whenever I pray, I make my requests for all of you with
joy.

I pray that your love will overflow more and more, and that you will keep
on growing in knowledge and understanding. For I want you to understand
what really matters, so that you may live pure and blameless lives until the
day of Christ’s return.
-Philippians 1:3-5;9-10

We are patient and understanding  Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making
allowance for each other’s faults because of your love.
-Ephesians 4:1-6

We listen with empathy  Understand this my dear brothers and sisters, you must all be quick to
listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry.
-James 1:19

We speak the truth in love   Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and
more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church. Then we will no
longer be immature like children. We won’t be tossed and blown about by
every wind of new teaching.
-Ephesians 4:14-15

We are positive and encouraging  “Don’t use [negative] language. Let everything you say be good and
helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear
them.”
-Ephesians 4:29
