1.0 PROPOSED RESEARCH TITLE:

2.0 AREA OF INVESTIGATION

The proposed system is to implement iFace which serves as the employees’

credentials in check entry and check out from the company’s premises. The proposed
system is an effective solution to the problems prevailing in the manual or traditional
Monitoring System.

The proponents will be using CSS, PHP, MySQL, and HTML in developing the said
system.

3.0 REASON OF CHOICE

The proposed system serves to record and monitor an employee easily access
entry and exit of the store/branch. The employee's record would be verified by the exact
time and date of login and log out. The process of ins and outs of the employees will be
facilitated in a systematic and convenient way. The head office could be able to
distinguish an employee working in each branch/store.

It will also provide a dashboard that will show the employees’ in and out, total
number of working hours, total over time, and total number of minutes late.

4.0 IMPORTANCE OF THE STUDY

 Monitor employees’ attendance easily in a systematic and automated

way;

 less paper work for employees in profiling and reporting and

 Keeping track of Employees Attendance Record in a fast, reliable and

user-friendly way.

 The iFace hardware identifies an individual as an employee that is being

recognized by the database system. It hastens check entry and outs.

5.0 TARGET USERS/BENEFICIARIES

The proposed system will benefit Terry S.A., Incorporated. The System Proposed
will be the answer to the problems prevailing in the manual processing system.

The first part which is the input presents the language to be used in developing
the said system. And the total cost and benefit.
The process stage displays the method in designing the system, and the
calculation of Return of Investment.
On the other hand, the output considers the developed Human Resource Information
System with iFACE Biometrics for Terry S.A., Incorporated.
7.0 SCOPE AND LIMITATION

The researchers developed a system entitled “Human Resource Information

System with iFace Biometrics for Terry S.A., Incorporated”, conducted during the school
year 2018-2019, which would be conducted to the grounds of the branch locations of
Terry S.A., Incorporated located in 2293 Chino Roces Ave, Makati, Metro Manila. This
would have involved the employees as the respondents for the system proposed to
allocate equivalent data regarding accessibility, reliability, efficiency, user-Friendliness
and security.

This study aimed to establish a standard system with the use of HRIS and Face
Recognition Biometrics which captures individual’s identity through scanning and
authentication. Every employee has a unique employee number indicated in the
information registered on the Biometrics. The iFace (Face Recognition) Biometrics
serves to identify an individual, including the employees of each branch/store. It will
monitor the attendance for two branches/stores of Terry S.A. Inc. Data gathered by the
biometrics placed in each branch would be accessed by the store/branch admin, and
data gathered will be accessed by the head office where the main server is located. The
payroll computation relies on the entry logs by the Terry S.A., Incorporated, HR
Personnel, and employees.
