HISTORY

The story of Malinta National High School, a product of decades of educational

and sociopolitical metamorphoses, is humble and remarkable. It is a 47-year old
nationally-funded institution of learning situated in Brgy. Malinta, Valenzuela
City. Established in 1969, the school started as the Malinta Barrio High School by
virtue of Valenzuela Municipal Council Resolution No. 72 and was initially
located inside the campus of Malinta Elementary School. A year after, the
school was integrated into Valenzuela Municipal High School as Malinta Annex.
On 28 July 1997, the school gained its independent status and on 23 July 1998 by
virtue of Republic Act 8722, it became Malinta National High School. In 2016, the
Senior High School program became part of the circular offerings of the school.
Malinta National High School is one of the first four public secondary schools in
Valenzuela City with Senior High School programs.

Malinta National High School has grown to be a leader in secondary high school
and remains to be recognized for offering excellent education. The school still
supports competent stakeholders to work together with the school in the
direction of feasible targets. Most of all, Malinta National High School continues
to uphold its pledge to students, and education. Like every distinguished
educational institution, Malinta National High School equally pondered and
operated upon the bigger world. Its groundwork later became potent and
creative. At present, the school has two campuses; the St. Jude Campus or the
Junior High Campus was established in 2004 and is proximate to the Valenzuela
City Government Center.
At Malinta National High School, we believed that every student, staff and client
brings a unique aspiration. All are welcomed and encouraged to carry out
accomplishments they feel can play a part to self, community, and nation’s
