The old buildings should be demolished so that there will be enough open space for the learners and the
buildings are not safe to occupy. Furthermore, the electrical outlets should be checked to avoid short circuits.
All teachers should attend the proper conduct of the said event.

POST IMPLEMENTATION EVALUATION REPORT FOR NSED

TITLE OF ACTIVITY 1st Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill 2019


DATE February 21, 2019
VENUE Pagudpud Integrated School- Pagudpud, San Fernando City , La Union
The National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) is quarterly held in schools to ensure the
OVERVIEW capability of the learners in the country in preparation to earthquakes. Moreover, it also helps
further increase public knowledge in securing public safety through earthquake preparedness.
The objective of the NSED is to ensure the understanding of the learners on the immediate steps
OBJECTIVE to be undertaken when an earthquake occurs. Moreover, it also serves as a systematic approach
to review and revise the approaches in earthquake preparedness.
PARTICIPANTS 624 learners -- 300 boys and 324 girls; 22 teachers and 1 School head participated in the drill.
An orientation was given to the learners before the actual drill was conducted. In the orientation,

important reminders were delivered, and safety precautions were also reiterated.
The quantitative assessment of earthquake drill gives a result of 92 which means the drill was
