Bodhitree, Jaipur is the brainchild of sister designer duo Shubha Gupta and Siddhi Gupta and
is an ode to glory of Rajasthan’s royal and vibrant cultural heritage. It is an amalgamation of
rich handpicked fabrics with opulent embroidery and embellishments oozing grandeur and
opulence. Our wedding ensemble embodies the old world glamour keeping the subtle and
chic aesthetic sensibilities in mind. We take pride in our selves in endeavouring the best

STRENGHTS

 Established Brand Name-Bodhitree Jaipur has an established brand name in the state
of Rajasthan. The company has been in its existence since 2010.
 Market Share-It has a good market share in cities of Jaipur, Delhi, Hyderabad,
Mumbai, Ahmedabad, etc.
 Quality of Clothes-It has maintained its quality of clothes since its establishment and
received many awards for that.

WEAKNESSES

 Low Budget-As the company was started by 2 sisters at a very young age they didn’t
had enough money to invest in the firm.
 Lack of qualified personnel-The company is not able to hire qualified staff for the
company due to lack of funds.
 Lack of presence in small cities-The company still has almost no presence in small
cities.

OPPORTUNITIES

 Growing fashion industry-Fashion industry has a very good growth in last few years,
which gives them a good opportunity to capture the market.
 Growth in Purchasing Power-People’s purchasing power has been increasing from
last few years.

THREATS

 Competitors-There is a stiff competition in this industry. Many big brands are already
there in the market.
 Change in Fashion Trends-Fashion trends change overnight which is always a threat
for the company.

1. Masaba Gupta- A 2009 alumni of Mumbai's SNDT Women's University, where she
considered Apparel Manufacture and Design, Masaba Gupta propelled her self-titled
name Masaba that equivalent year, appearing as a feature of Lakme Fashion Week's
Gen Next show for up-a coming creators. Her mark style – a mix of conventional

 STATE THE PROBLEM

“Success of Bodhitree Jaipur in Tier-Two And Tier-Three Cities”

 MAIN OBJECTIVE
To find out the whether Bodhitree Jaipur will be preferred in Tier-Two And
Tier-Three Cities.

 SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE
1. To find out whether Bodhitree Jaipur will earn profits in Tier-Two And Tier-
Three Cities
2. To study about cost and pricing of the company.
3. To find customer views on Fashion Industry.
4. To find out what are different customer preferences.
5. To find out purchasing power of people on luxury fashion apparels.

 SAMPLING METHOD
Snowball Sampling method was used to conduct the survey. Questionnaire
was passed through social media and was filled by people from different Tier-
Two And Tier-Three Cities in the country.

 HYPOTHESIS
1. Ha-Launching Bodhitree Jaipur will earn profits in Tier-Two And Tier-Three
Cities.
2. Ho-Launching Bodhitree Jaipur will incur losses in Tier-Two And Tier-Three
Cities.

FINDINGS

After collecting data from many two-tier and three-tier cities we have come to the following
findings:

 Data is collected from mostly from the age group of 18 years to 22 years.
 People living in these cities have cost of living under 30000Rs, very few people have
cost of living above 150000Rs.
 Around 85% of people spend only 4000-6000Rs on buying a new dress.
 50% of people are neutral towards luxury brands and approx 25% only prefer luxury
brands.
 Around 50% of people prefer buying designer clothes for big and grand functions.
 Few names like Manish Malhotra, Sabyasachi Mukherjee and Ritu Kumar are very
well known amongst people everywhere.
 Fashion magazines are not so popular but still Vogue is a very well-known magazine
amongst these people.
 Awareness of Bodhitree Jaipur is only around 30%.
 People prefer quality and uniqueness while purchasing a new dress. Few people also
prefer the occasion and brand.
 Most of the people find designer clothes very expensive which stops them in buying
these clothes.
 Almost 40% people still buy these clothes even if they can’t afford it.
 50% of people buy these clothes but don’t use it.
 Most of the people think that design concept creates a fashion garment.
 Most of the people prefer that luxury designer products have better quality.
 Almost 70% of people buy clothes that they like regardless of the current fashion
trend.
 People are neutral towards fashion designer labels.
 Around 35% People buy clothes due to its well-known brand name.
 Around 35% people believe that luxury products make them happy and confident.
 Around 30% people believe that it also shows their social status and wealth.
 Around 30% people believe that it shows their fashion taste.

SUGGESTIONS

 Bodhitree Jaipur needs to increase awareness about their brand to everyone.


 The company needs to start designing low price clothes for two-tier and three-tier
cities customers.
 The company also needs to start designing variety of clothes.
 The company needs to spend money on advertisements and digital media.
 The company should come with offers and discounts during wedding seasons to
increase their sales.
 The company needs to increase quality also of their products to target customers.
 The company should design clothes which also maintain the culture of the society.
 The company needs to recruit employees to increase their workforce in different
cities.

FUTURE SCOPE

Bodhitree Jaipur has been in existence since 2009 and have grown their customers, brand,
quality, profits, etc. in every possible way.

Here are some future scopes for the company-

 Bodhitree Jaipur is the leading brand in designer clothing in city of Jaipur, according
to their Growth chart it will soon become the leading brand in Rajasthan too.
 The designers at Bodhitree have come up with very good latest designs which will
make their customers happy and confident.
 Bodhitree is soon going to start its outlet in the capital city that is New Delhi, which
will result in increase in brand awareness and customers.
 Bodhitree has got few customers from the film industry too; it will help them to grow
their brand awareness in the film industry also.
 Bodhitree has started to design clothes for middle class people at low prices to
increase their customer base and brand awareness.
 Bodhitree also provides customized designs through their social media platforms,
which enables them to increase their customer trustworthiness.
 Bodhitree has started promotions through social media platforms like Facebook,
Instagram, etc., it will help the company to increase its brand awareness.
