FACTORS JUSTIFYING THE RESUSTATION OF THE EXISTING PRESIDENT’S

COLLEGE PLAY FIELD

Are as follows:-

1) Dimensions of play field length =470 feet; width 510 feet

2) Pavilion with adequate convenience for activities
3) This ground was used for sports in the past
4) It is ideally located for proper monitor and security during events
5) In a period between 2010 to 2011 the ground was ploughed, chipped, harrowed
and spray with weed killer; a drain was dug for effective drainage. This was done
at a considerable cost.

Immediately after the ground was left to ruin. Presently cattle graze as though in
a pasture, without being affected by water from flooding. They rest there
comfortably.
6) The pavilion after the conflagration of the dormitories it provided suitable living
accommodation for over twenty-five students.
7) Further justification:- Is that for future expansion and development. The
dimension of the ground would be length 700 feet and width 510 feet.

Observation:- After the 2005 inundation of the area. The entire compound was
under water. The adjacent plot of land that was designed and excavated to form
the map of Guyana crumbled; the area now is a pool. The precipitation cause the
entire area to be leveled. The map acted as a vessel

Conclusion:- If the map artifact when commissioned and drainage of the perimeter
being maintained. The present ground would not have to withstand the flooding
or the ingress of excess water from existing areas.

Recommendation:- With the afore mentioned being a fact it would be advisable to

refurbish the existing facility with the same eye that would want to be used for a
new plot to be developed.

Rational:- It has being tried and used for the benefit of all example, the school
fraternity and the immediate community as a hole.
