Good morning! I am Hayley. I am standing here to prove and defend that gadgets should be allowed
during school days. We are living in rhe 21st century and as a modern learner we should cope up with
the trend and changes of the school system, and that is to use gadgets and technology inside the
classroom. Why? What are the importance? First is "moving on". We are moving on from heavy books,
handwritten materials and boring lectures. We are moving forward for a paperless class, handy materials
and interactive lectures, all of this with the help of technology during school days. Second, gadgets help
us develop our skills. Specifically, problem solving skills, creativity and social skills. How? We will no
longer copy notes and just morize lines, the activities would be more interesting, fun and exciting
because the gadgets will provide various activities that can help develop our problem solving skills. As for
the improvement of our creativity, we explore things and learn new things from it. The pictures, videos
and audios are very helpful for our imagination. Gadgets also provide opportunities for us to interact
with other people by providing us mutual interest to do together. Lastly, some gadgets games are fun
and educational. For example, Chinese, English, History and Math games are good because it helps us to
learn in a fun and interactive way. We should monitor ourselves so that we will avoid playing fighting
games. However, fighting games according to research, help our hand, eyes and brain coordination. It is
still helpful for our development.As a 21st century learner, I believe that gadgets should be used during
school days. That's all, thank you.

Good morning ladies and gentlemen, welcome to this side of the house. We strongly believe that
gadgets should be used during school days. Gadgets includes, cellphone, laptop, TV, radio and other
electronic devices. All this gadgets that I mentioned are very useful. Before I mention all the importance
of gadgets, I will introduce you my smart and eloquent teammates. Standing as our first rebuttal speaker,
Hayley! Our second rebuttal speaker, Jasmin! and our team captain who will give our closing, Andrew! All
of us here and I know the audience will surely agree too, that gadgets are very useful during school days,
therefore it should be allowed. Why? First, we are living in the 21st century, so why not use gadgets
right? Second, gadgets are better than books. Third, it is easier, helpful and convenient in gaining
information. I can go on with hundred reasons to prove that gadgets should be used during school days.
However, I will cut my opening speech and let my teammates give more reasons, that I'm sure, will make
your head nodding.

Hello everyone! I am Jasmin and together with my teammates, we firmly believe that gadgets are a lot
more convenient than the tradition ways of learning and teaching. With the help of gadgets learning
would be easier and faster. Here's how? When we use laptop and projector, pictures, videos and
information, in this way, we will learn better the details of a subject which can enhance our imagination
and discussion skills. One of the main importance of using gadgets in school is we can be able to connect
with the world. We can now expand the classroom, from the four corners to the limitless universe! We
will be updated with new informations and we will know different happenings from all over the world.
For example, because we have internet and gadgets we now know that some countries in Africa are poor
and we realize that we can help them. Another is we can have immediate answers to some questions
that students and teachers do not know. We can find information that we cannot find in books. Like, how
to cook cockroaches. Do you want to know how to cook cockroaches? Use gadgets to look for the
information. Gadgets are not all about finding information, it is also about enhancing other intelligences,
specifically for musically smart and technically smart students. How? laptops and smartphones contains
music and videos which can make the lesson fun. There are piano and guitar applications that can be
used during music classes. Phone and laptops have many applications that can help us study. We can
even use ebooks as replacement for heavy books. Some students like to tinker with gadgets, having
gadgets in the classrroom will rise their interest. Gadgets also help us not only academically but also
socially. Sharing ideas, opinions, photos and videos through gadgets is a way to socialize to other people.
During emergencies, we can call or message other people. We can recieve news faster and immediately
prevent emergencies from getting worse. During school activities like field trips we use our phone and
camera to take pictures, to record our memories. Almost everyone have gadgets, meaning, all the
benefits of it were experienced by everyone. From all the reasons that we mentioned, the motion of
allowing gadgets in school must stand.

See, why most of us here bring our gadgets with us, and to say, it's school days! Of course because we
need it. Why do we need it? Because like my teammates reasoned, it is more convinient, useful and it
connects us to the world. We easily find information from it, it is more mobile, trendy and interesting.
My team have shown you the need,practicality, and benefits of using gadgets during school days. Studies
show that using gadgets in school increase the interest and enhance the skills of students. Furthermore,
the benefits of gadgets outweighs the negative effect of it. First, in terms of gadgets as distractions, we
oppose to it because with the help of modern gadgets, students become more interested and it will hold
our attention span in a longer time. We will focus more in listening and participating because we know
there is always something new that gadgets can provide. As for the games. Hayley mentioned that there
are good games that can be used to study, and fighting games can be of help for eyes, hand and brain
coordination. As the issue of eye care, screen radiation can be prevented by eye protect. With these
things mentioned there would be no reason not to use gadgets during school days.

Let me emphasize and reiterate the reasons why we should use gadgets during school days. First, this is
21st century and we need to move forward! Second, gadgets helps develop our skills. Third, it is more
convinient, highly useful and increase interest. Forth, we learn a lot from gadgets. Most importantly, it
connects us to the world.

Hello everyone I am Hayley. I would like to begin by saying " the best thing in the world are not the
material material objects one can buy in the store, but in the memories we make with tje peole we love.
Just as the saying implies there is nothing that can replace the memories we had while studying here in
CNS.

It's not how much you know but what you do with what you know.

Your only competition is yourself.

What if you are in a place where ypu do not understand what people are talking about. would you still
care? or like ask what are they talking about? or I need to know what they talking aboit maybe it's about
me. but still not everything is about you?!
