FINDINGS, SUGGESTIONS AND CONCLUSIONS

5.1 FINDINGS

 Majority (41%) of the respondents say same day for average turn-around time for goods
delivery from suppliers.

 Majority (88%) of the respondents say yes for running right on time and as per schedule
and plan.

 Majority (43%) of the respondents say same day for average turn-around time for goods
delivery to customers.

 Majority (32%) of the respondents say demand for factors considered while placing a
purchase order.

 Majority (24%) of the respondents say local market for unit purchase its inventories.

 Majority (37%) of the respondents says safety stock for cost reduction measures are
adopted by the company.

 Majority (32%) of the respondents says cost reduction for transportation and logistics
challenges are most critical to your customers.

 Majority (38%) of the respondents say roadways for type of transport is preferred in the
company.

 Majority (81%) of the respondents says yes for company have an annual logistics budget.

 Majority (77%) of the respondents says yes for company have any measurements for
your logistics performance.

 Majority (36%) of the respondents says 2 – 3 days for transport your goods.
 Majority (42%) of the respondents says before time for delivery schedule of the company.

 Majority (43%) of the respondents says near for how close the branch, warehouses was
booking points & delivery spots from your place.

 Majority (43%) of the respondents says routinely for often each exporting shipment is
inspected.

 Majority (42%) of the respondents says 21 or more for many carriers do you currently
manage.

 Majority (40%) of the respondents says 21 or more for many points of contact do you
currently need to manage in your supply chain.

 Majority (37%) of the respondents says cash for Mode of Payment.

 Majority (32%) of the respondents says 20%+ for last measurement period were SALES
generally up or down.

 Majority (30%) of the respondents says 20%+ for last measurement period were profits
up or down.

 Majority (38%) of the respondents says Longer than 24 hrs but less than or equal to 48
hrs for duration of export clearance.

 Majority (34%) of the respondents says strongly agree for my company extensively
measures logistics performance in terms of cost, productivity, customer service, asset
management and quality.

 Majority (42%) of the respondents says strongly agree for my company successfully
utilizes time-based logistics solutions like continuous replenishment, quick response and
just-in-time with customers and/or suppliers.

 Majority (36%) of the respondents says agree for Manufacturing or logistics information
systems in my company are being expanded to include more integrated applications.
  Majority (34%) of the respondents says strongly agree for my company has common,
agreed-to policies and procedures to standardize logistics operations.

5.2 SUGGESTIONS

The suggestions I have given for the betterment are explained below:

 It is very important to provide the opportunity to the employees of the organization to

express their ideas or whatever they want to express.
 Management should clear their vision mission and goals towards the employees in the
organization.

 Organization should take step to improve training and development activities.

 Management has to take steps to increase training actives.

 The management has to look after training programme actives in the organization.

 Training needs has to be viewed seriously in the organization.

 Management to view the effectiveness of the training programme in the work place.
5.3 CONCLUSIONS

In the conclude note of my research I am confident to say that the study gave an
opportunity to analyze various factors regarding employee work life balance.

The sample size is very low so it is very difficult concluding it by saying that it is the
view of whole population.

The time provided for the research is less.

I have understood how a research study is to be conducted and prepare a comprehensive

report. So on and so forth the study has given me a lot of exposure like meeting and talking with
different people.
