creates anxiety among English language speakers, and this anxiety factor negatively affects1 the

and motivating factors for Pakistani college students of Quetta in learning English language. A
quantitative research type was used in which 150 college students studying in three different
Pakistan. They in their research, adopted demotivation questionnaire from the study by (Keita
Kikuchi, Hindek Sakai, 2009), which was consist of one open-ended question and 35 close-
behaviour, course contents and teaching materials, effects of low test score, classroom
environment and lack of self-confidence and interest. The findings of the study of (Maheen Sher
Ali, Zahid Hussain Pathan, 2017) disclosed that course content and teaching material emerged as
the most salient demotivating factor. Thus these are the reasons behind the unwillingness to use the
reasons were revealed through factor analysis, which are the speaking incompetencies, people's
nagetive reaction, fear of mistakes and people maling fun while speaking it. Furthermore interuption
during the speech, presenting without prior preparation, time and again rectified during the speaking
brings unwillingness in students and these are the results revealed by survey for the said study.
In the study of shows that atmosphere was the main reason behind unwillingness of students which
means the students could not find the environment to practice their Enlish beside the class. Boys faced
many problems as compare to girls like boys cannot speak infront of girls and their fear of mistakes.
Meanwhile the students from remote areas faced more problems than that of cities. Lack of vocabulary
power tend to be the next main reason behind unwillingness by the students and
