1. In this assigment, we performed the conversation about inviting our friends into a
housewarming party. I roled as an owner of my new house. I invited and gave her my address
and the date of that party, then I asked her to bring something to drink.

2. Both of us was so nervous when we did a record in campus. Since this assigment doesn’t
need in public area, we decided to did this in our house. The quality of sound in the house
was also better. We didn’t find any problems or dificulties as long as we performed.
Everything feels great when I get my confidence.

3. During my second performance, I found that in order to do this, I need to manage my body
language and expression, maintain eye contact with my partner, speak loud and pronounce
every word in their right pronouncation with some british or american acent.

The more I practiced the dialogue, the more prepared I would feel. I think, I need
approximately 7 times practiced the dialogue before performed. This helped me to know
exactly what I was going to be talking about and feel more comfortable while I started to did
the conversation. And I was trying to minimize used “um” or “uh”. The more I use those
words, it will make me look un natural, bad at memorize the dialogue text and uncomfortable
to be heard by the viewers. I also practiced using gestures and making sure they were visible
to look.

No matter how many times I've done dialogue in front a lot of people, I've always get nervous
and always forget what I rehearsed. I still don’t know why I lost my confidence so much. And I
don’t know how to resolve this problem. It always happen just in front of strangers. I don’t
feel the same way with my classmates.

4. Many things that I’ve got from this assigment. I can learn how to write a dialogue text and
my self reflection. This part was really forced me to dig up more vocabularies and payed
attention for their proper gramatical. So I can grade up my writing skill beside my speaking
skill. Gradually, I’ve improved my speaking skills and I believe that this improvements have
already began to benefit me for getting better performance, not only in this conversation task
but also in public speaking lesson. I was able to use the right facial expressions, gestures, and
intonation based on what the sentences which I want to tell.

In conclusion, it was my pleasure to get feedback from my friends. Having criticism is good
because even though I practice, I don’t notice things about myself, like body language or tone
of voice or my eye contact and so many things. Practice doesn’t make perfect, but it just make
permanent without any reflection. If I practice wrong, I risk bad habits and risk doing it wrong.
So I really enjoy when someone give me some criticism or even advices for a smooth process.

5. The useful things that I could to do for next performance is keep my capability for using
gesture, facial expression, intonation and get rid of the nervous or shy. It will be my pride if I
could upgrade my speaking skill in order to sound like a native speaker. It is also important to
pay attention about an angel of the camera and the loudness of my volume. All of the
technical support is helping my final performance record may looks good.
