Today, we will learn the about different ways to keep ourselves safe. Show
some pictures that show different safety measures.

Show cause and effect pictures (playing with knife, matches, teasing a dog, playing
with electrical appliances). Discuss what will happen to them if they will do these things.
In order for us to keep ourselves safe we should avoid doing these things and we should
listen to and obey our parents.

A. Group Activity/Differentiated Activities
The teacher group the class into 3 groups.

Identify and encircle (O) the safety measures to avoid accident at home.
Group 2
Mark the picture with a check (/) if it shows the correct way of keeping safe in
the street.
Group 3
Write C if the picture shows the correct way of keeping oneself safe during
disasters.
