CONCEPT BOARD

Taken from the pre – colonial period’s major materials used such as wood and stone elements. This deluxe
hotel room emits a feeling of relaxation, nostalgia and entices the dwellers to rest instead of stressing. Upon
entering, the room’s colors are different shades of brown. A framed rattan window accent wall is overhead the
bed and a rattan ball pendant light to emphasize Philippine products. The furniture is mostly made up of wood
even the flooring.

• The use of rattan materials in furniture and fixtures to emphasize native Philippine culture.
• The use of wood being the dominant material in the room to achieve the Pre-Colonial look.
