Bavarian Doughnut

1 Tbsp yeast
1 t sugar
1 cup warm milk
½ sugar
1 tsp salt
1 egg
4 tbsp melted butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 ½ cup apf
1 cup cf
1 tsp baking powder

Filling
2 tbsp cornstarch
1/3 cup sugar
1 cup milk
2 egg yolks
1 tsp vanilla

Procedure
1. Follow as in Straight dough method.
2. When the dough is properly developed, roll out into ¼ inch then cut with doughnut cutter.
3. Let rise and fry in hot oil. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
