SYNOPSIS

The project entitled “Automation of Telecommunication System” is used

to computerize the inventory control of BSNL regional office automation system.
Since the environment is highly complex one and involves so many activities,
computerization becomes a necessary one.

Development of software “Automation of Telecommunication System” is

concerned with maintenance of customer details, this system also focuses on
system analysis. Design and development, Appendix consists of run flow of this
system and all the outputs that can be generated by this system.

I have under taking my project named as Telecommunication Management

System. This software is competent of a billing. Presently they are producing
reports manually.

The Tele communication management system has been developed in order

to computerize the activities of the shop maintenance. This system includes five
modules namely master, transactions, goods information and reports.

The new system makes the tasks of connection, re connection and

maintenance in an easier and faster way. Phone directory are also maintained by
this system. All necessary reports are dynamically generated by this proposed
system. Bill receipt includes the items distributed with products.

The project is developed on “WINDOWS 2000” platform by using the

programming language “Visual Basic 6.0” as front end and “Ms Access7.0” as
back end tool.

1.1 ABOUT THE PROJECT

This project “Automation of telecommunication system” is

developed for maintaining the customer details, new connection details, Billing
details and etc.,. This system is help to extract the customer.

Now a day, each and every work is computerized. The project serves the
BSNL office automation process to store the all the information. The automation of
telecommunication provides the overall transaction of telecom company process
for example providing the new connection to the customer and maintains the all
kind of customer needs.

The new system makes the tasks of connection, re connection and

In customer details have all personal details about customers, connection

details, fault details have the date of address transfer etc. The records are manually
creating a lot of problem. Hence the product indeed accounts and data to be
computerized. This has resulted in the development of the project.
MODULES SPECIFICATION

CONNECTION MODULE

Connection module is once where we can store the information which can
altered if so the programmer can do it. Connection, disconnection, billing and paid
information to be stored in these modules. The sub modules are,

TRANSFER MODULE

It is the module in which we can enter the transfer routinely and it will make
changes in the address and name transfer. This system every transaction will be
maintained these modules.

It is fault module in which we can enter the fault routinely and it will make
changes in the complaints and fault. This system every transaction will be
maintained these modules.
