15 degrees. How far is the boat from the base of the lighthouse?
27-28. At a certain instant, a lighthouse is 4 miles north of a ship which is travelling directly east.
If after 10 minutes, the bearing of the lighthouse is found to be N21 o15’W, find the speed
of the ship in miles per hour.
29-30. Find the height of a tree if the angle of elevation of its top changes from 20o to 40o as the
observer advances 23 m towards it base.
