Project Overview
1.1 Purpose
The aim of this Project is to provide a web portal for having an

alternative approach to the programs coming on HMTV and also to
have an alternative revenue generating model.
1.2 Proposed Delivery Approach
The Project is being broken into independent modules and mini

deadlines are set for faster delivery and Continuous Quality Assurance
at each level of the project by adopting combination of V and RUP
Methodology.
1.3 Project Background
According to market research and statistics it is seen there are very

few News Portals in Telugu and they do not have the latest news
updates and as well doesn’t have news categorized accordingly.
To overcome these drawbacks and to meet the basic requirements of
the Society, HMTV wishes to have a News portal that will not only
address the current issues but also provides with necessary
information. It wants to be one place to have any information in the
state and have other lifestyle required queries and information. It
wants to be a one stop portal for the information on Andhra Pradesh.
