Existing bridge is located at Indian/ Myanmar border near Tamu immigration office. New
bridge at this location is proposed right side of exiting steel bridge keeping in view to connect
directly to Proposed Integrated Check Post at Moreh along Indo-Myanmar Border by
Ministry of Home Affairs.
Geotech investigations have been carriedout at two locations (at abutment & at center) on
proposed bridge site.

Existing bridge is a single span bridge with a span length of 36.6m. One borehole has been
carried out at abutment location. The bore drilled upto 30 m depth.
