YOUR OFFICIAL COURSE WORKBOOK

4 Simple Tips To Get The Most Out of This Class:

1. Print this workbook out before starting to listen to the recording so you can write down
your notes as you listen.

2. Review the topic outline so you know what to listen for. Make sure you've set aside
private time for this session (minimum 50 minutes) so you’ll be able to focus and fully
receive the benefits of the session.

3. Write down all the interesting and new ideas and inspirations you get while listening —
that way you won’t lose the information most relevant to you.

4. Think of how you can quickly implement the teachings shared in this session.

Preparation Tips:

• Make sure you are in a quiet place where nothing can distract you, and that you are not
driving a car or any other vehicle. Be in a comfortable position so you can fully take part
in any of the exercises or hypnosis tracks that are part of the class.

• Stretch your muscles before starting the class. Stretching loosens the muscles and
tendons allowing you to sit (or lie) more comfortably. Additionally, stretching starts the
process of “going inward” and brings added focus to the body.

• Take a deep breath. Breathing deeply slows down the heart rate and relaxes the
muscles to help you have a comfortable experience during any guided exercises that will
happen during the class.

We hope you’ll enjoy it!

Module Three Exercise

2. This exercise is meant to help you train your mind to seek pleasure in the most
simple day-to-day activities.

When you wake up tomorrow and begin going about your day, choose to seek and find
pleasure in the most simple things.

Whether it’s a hot morning shower, your first cup of coffee, or a beautiful flower in bloom,
allow the simple pleasure of these things to sink in and improve your mood.

There is a utility to this despite the fact that it seems quite pollyanna. What will begin to
happen is that your mind will become used to finding pleasure in the most simple things.

In other words, you will be teaching your brain to familiarize pleasure.

When the tiniest things bring you a sense of joy, the bigger things in life—a promotion, a
new business prospect, a new love—will be truly phenomenal.

Because you’ve wired your brain to notice pleasure, more and more things will make you
happy, which mean more and more happiness will come your way.

So stay attuned to these small pleasures and take note of how much pleasure they give
you.

The more you wire your brain to notice pleasure and make it familiar, the more unfamiliar
your old, less happy self will become.

Module Two Exercise

Use the space below to write down any insights that you had during the exercise.

Write for at least one day, 4-5 simple activities/moments that you did/had and how grateful/
positive they made you feel. You can continue for the rest of the week with this mindset.

Homework

3. Spend some time making a list of the familiar things you would like to make unfamiliar
and vice versa.

Here’s an example: one of my clients would always order a burger and fries because it
cost $8 whereas a salad cost $12 and she resented that extra cost. And then she learned
to make spending more money on healthy foods familiar and putting junk into her body
unfamiliar. She realized that spending more on good food was actually cost effective
because she was spending less on medication and weight loss books and pills.

If lounging around after work and playing on your iPad is familiar to you, make getting off
the tube a stop early and walking the rest of the way while listening to your iPad familiar
instead.

If sleeping in until the last possible second and being late to work is familiar to you, set
yourself a challenge to get into work five minutes early every day for a week. All of sudden
the different train times and routine will become familiar, and you wont have to force
yourself to do it any longer.

Pick one thing that you’re going to stick to for a week.

You can start small if that’s more comfortable: no sugar in your tea or eating an apple
every mid-morning instead of your usual unhealthy snack.

Pay attention to how it becomes slightly easier with each passing day.

Remember: You can apply what you’ve learned from making this small unfamiliar task
familiar to a much larger idea: your self worth, career potential, or relationship.
