Brief Introduction to Specialised Infrared Electro-Thermal Film

When electro-thermal film is mentioned, it is usually related to heating devices. In fact,

most manufacturers of electro-thermal film can only produce normal electro-thermal
film. Only a few of them can produce specialised electro-thermal film with varied size,
shape, power and voltage because it requires highly specialized equipment and
techniques. Our company has a highly-qualified team of expert engineers who
specialise in infrared technology and furthermore we have our own state of the art
factory producing our specialised electro-thermal film. We can also produce infrared
electro-thermal film for any kinds of application.

Infrared electro-thermal film is an electrical heating infrared radiator made of alloy. It

is sealed between two plastic films. The films are anti-aging, heat resisting,
fire-resistant and highly insulated, so that the electro-thermal film is isolated from air
and can operate under water. The total thickness is around 0.03 0.2mm. On
connection to 220V (other ratings also available, e.g. 36V) power supply, the
electro-thermal film heats and emits red heat waves which are good for human health.
It is widely used in fields such as physiotherapy, industrial and agricultural heating,
military and domestic applications. With the addition of a thermostat a high-quality
intelligent heating system can be designed It is also an ideal replacement for modern
heating devices and can also be used as an auxiliary heating device.

Features of infrared electro-thermal film:

1. Water-proof and operates smoothly in 5% brine for up to 24 hours.

2. Damp-proof and corrosion resistant.

3. Anti-aging, long lifetime and stable performance.

4. Well-insulated – passes a 3750V voltage resistance test.

5. Soft, flexible, can be applied in all kinds of situations.

6. Tailor-made to different requirements of size, shape, voltage, power and

surface temperature.

7. Film itself is fire-resistant and flame retardant and meets all fire safety
requirements.

8. Infrared wavelength emitted is around 8 12µm, which is harmless to humans.

The emission rate is less than 0.87.

9. Electricity-heat conversion rate is around 100%.

10. Highest bearable temperature is 80 degrees PET or 260 degrees PI .

11. Positive temperature coefficient. The resistance rises and power drops with
the rise of temperature, which significantly reduces the possibility of overheating.

Demonstration of Specialised Infrared Electro-Thermal Film

As mentioned above, specialised infrared electro-thermal film can be applied in fields

such as infrared physiotherapy, industrial and agricultural heating, military and
domestic as well as for normal heating purposes (including ceiling and ground
electro-thermal films). The products which have already been released to market are
as follows:

Infrared Physiotherapy Electro-Thermal Film

The core of this infrared physiotherapy machine is the infrared source, which is a kind
of infrared electro-thermal film. The technology can also be applied in traditional
medicine. Infrared sources of different peak wavelengths, shapes and sizes can be
chosen according to the requirements of the manufacturers.

Electro-Thermal Film For Industrial Heating And Pipe Heating

Electro-thermal film is widely used as a water heater. This kind of product has the
following features. The surface temperature of electro-thermal film is low (around
100 degrees). The surface area which makes contact with the heated object is large.
Heat is transmitted very quickly, temperature rises quickly, and only a little heat is lost
during the transmission, which can save 30 40% energy. When applied to pipe
heating, extremely long film is needed. With our company’s patented slicing
technology, we can produce film long enough for pipe heating. Petroleum runs very
slowly in pipes when temperature is low. Water will freeze when temperature falls
below zero, causing pipe damage. These problems can all be solved by using infrared
electro-thermal film. Electro-thermal film can also be used as shape-setter for clothes.

Constant Temperature Drying Box, Drying Room and Infrared Drying Tunnel
Drying is usually done using resistance wiring, heating tubes and quartz infrared
electro-thermal tubes. These technologies have many disadvantages such as uneven
heating, slow temperature rise and low efficiency. Infrared electro-thermal film is a
source of surface heating that can solve these problems. Usually, heating a drying
room (1.5m×2m×5m) takes around 10kW. With a 3kW infrared electro-thermal film, it
will only take 10 minutes to heat the room from 15 to 60 degrees.
Infrared Electro-Thermal Film for Use By Consumers

Model No: HD-73L13

Infrared electro-thermal film can be used in saunas and bathrooms. It can also be
used in underfloor heating and fog-proof mirrors. When used for agricultural
applications, infrared electro-thermal film can be used for constant-temperature
heating of green houses, piggeries and henhouses
.

Electro-Thermal Film For Military And Aeronautical Use

In space, infrared radiation travels for long distances with almost no absorption.
Therefore electro-thermal film can be used as signal source or trace target. Its heating
effects can also be used to control the environment for measurement of physical
parameters. It can be also used to produce an infrared image of all kinds of items or
devices, which is valuable in the field of anti-surveillance.

Each of the above applications above has its own requirements vis-à-vis the
electro-thermal film. Our company can produce all kinds of films with different
voltage (1-260V or higher), shape, size, surface temperature (260 degrees max) and
temperature distribution.
