Responsibilities

➢ Working as NOC Engineer in Centralized Network Operations Center (CNOC Service Assurance). A part
of Network Management Team working at CNOC-OSP.

➢ Complete monitoring the National Long distance (NLD) links, IRU links as well as Access link & customer
links using various NMS (Alcatel, Hawaii, NEC, ADVA,&ECI ).This also includes Troubleshooting the
customer Dockets as well as Optical fiber cable damaged, equipment errors and Facility issues.
 ➢ Handling TCTS Telecom traffic outage of SDH & DWDM equipment @ NOC in co-ordination with Field
engineers. Co-coordinating with various IRU NOC’S (like BIL (Bharti India Limited), IDEA, Reliance,
RAILTEL, Aircel, VODAFONE from traffic down to traffic up.
➢ Keeping the records of all traffic failure in the company under the scope of TCTS through TSRM (Tivoli
Service Request Manager) software and Excel sheet named as SFR (Shift Field Report) and DFR (Daily Field
Report).
