OBJECTIVE
I am enthusiastically seeking a position as a School Counselor to have the opportunity to
assist students through struggles they may encounter, guide them in career decisions,
instill in them a sense of purpose, and help them learn life skills to achieve their
potential. I want to be in a position to make a positive impact on students’ lives!

Present
· During my tenure at Fullerton, I have taught many different Mathematics courses from
7th Grade Math to Senior Math. I have enjoyed working with the students and learning
new approaches and techniques to teaching them.

2011-2014 Substitute Teaching, Central City Public Schools


· Substitute teaching for middle and high school classes. In the spring of 2013 I was asked
to do a long term job for 7th and 8th grade mathematics.

· As Systems Analyst I was responsible for the support and installation of all financial
modules including Billing, Admissions, Materials Management, General Ledger, Time
and Attendance, Payroll, Medical Records, Home Health Care, and Fixed Assets. This
included training the end users on using the software and hardware as well as support
with questions or problems users encountered.

SKILLS
Team Oriented
· Working as a systems analyst at Saint Francis, there was one other Financial Analyst as
well as other clinical and nursing analysts which we worked cooperatively. In order to
be successful for the hospital, we needed to work together.

Working with difficult and diverse personalities


· I have worked with counselors regarding children’s behaviors, attended several
seminars on behavior disorders, and utilized whatever resources I could to help the
children become successful adults. I have learned a lot regarding behaviors of
children. When I am confronted with issues in the school setting, I find myself drawn
to the child wanting to help them.

Technology
· I enjoy working with technology. I have worked just a little with Apple technology, but
I am willing to learn and to seek help when I encounter problems. During enrollment
at UNK, I used many different applications to produce presentations and projects.
