DIALOGUE “HIV-AIDS”

Moderator : Good morning everybody? How are you today?

Audience : morning, I am fine. How about you ?

Moderator : I’m fine too, thank you.

Ok, we are from STIKes Muhammadiyah Palembang who want to


do counseling about “HIV/AIDS”. Which is the goal so that all
friends know ‘what is HIV/AIDS?, What are the symptoms of
HIV/AIDS?, What can transmit HIV/AIDS?, And How to prevent
HIV/AIDS?’.

Well, counseling will be done in approximately 50 minutes.

Ok, before we show our presentation, let’s me introduce our team.


I’m Rohma Oktariana as moderator, Vadila Zulfa as the first
presentator, Aditya Wisnu Pranata as the second presentator,

Syarifah Nur Ajizah as the third presentator and Pegi Dwi Yantiro
as the forth presentator.

Let's open our meeting by saying basmalah

Moderator : For the first presentator Vadila Zulfa the time is yours..

Presentator 1 : Ok guys.. I standing infront of you all I will explain about the
definition of HIV-AIDS.Befrore it, I will ask you..do you know
about HIV-ADS?

Audience : No…

Presentator 1 : HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) is a virus that can cause


AIDS. HIV stands for human immunodeficiency virus.HIV attacks
the body’s immune system, specifically the CD4 cells (T cells),
which help the immune system fight off infections.

Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome or Acquired Immune


Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) is a set of symptoms and infections
that arise due to damage to the human immune system due to HIV
virus infection (Sudikno, 2011)

And for the next slide will be explain with AdityaWisnu..

Presentator 2 : The etiologi, Caused by a virus called the Human


Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) in the form of a viral agent known
as a retrovirus that is transmitted by blood and has a strong affinity
for T lymphocytes.

How to transmit HIVA person with HIV infection is someone who


has the potential to transmit his illness to others. You need to
remember that HIV can only live in bodily fluids such as: Blood,
Vaginal fluid, Sperm liquid, Breast Milk.

Method of transmission: Drug abuse: by injection together. Sexual
relations with sufferers.Transfusion. Contact with the patient's
body fluids with open tissue.

Ok, for the next material will be explain wit Syarifah..

Presentator 3 : OK, here I will explain the signs and symptoms of someone who
has HIV-AIDS. First sign is fever more than 3 mont, diarrhea
chronic and weight down more than 1/10 in 3 month.

And for the symptoms: chronic cought, fungal candida albicans


infection in mouth and throat, swelling of the lymph settled in the
body, appear herpes zoster, spotted itchy in body.

And for the prevention with the treatment will be explain with
Pegy Dwi Yantiro..

Presentator 4 : Ok, preventions for HIV/AIDS there are 5 : the first is abstinence,
the second is be faithfull, the third is condom and the forth is no
drugs and the last is education.

And for the treatment, No effective cure currently exists, but with
proper medical care, HIV can be controlled. The medicine used to
treat HIV is called antiretroviral therapy or ART. If taken the right
way, every day, this medicine can dramatically prolong the lives of
many people infected with HIV, keep them healthy, and greatly
lower their chance of infecting others.

Audience 1 : My name is wilda I will ask you I am still dont understand about
no drug, how can the drugs become one of the causes of
HIV/AIDS?

HIV/AIDS be cured?

Moderator : Ok, thank you Miss Nezka. Anything else the other? No one?

All right, the first question will be answer with Aditya.

Presentator 2 : Ok I will answer wilda’s question. Why the drugs become one of
the causes. here the purpose of the drug used is by injection. and
the injections used together mean that they are not only used by
one person, and that is the reason why drugs are one of the causes.

Moderator : Have you understood Miss Wilda?

There is currently no cure for HIV/AIDS, but people suffering


from HIV can be controlled with ARV.

Moderator : Miss Nezka, have you anderstood?
