LEARNERS’ NEEDS
A. INTRODUCTION (5 mins/day)
Prayer, Greetings and Ice Breakers, Attendance Check
B. MOTIVATION (5 mins/day)
DAY 1: Posted on the board is the word Accounting, how will you define accounting by starting your statement with a given letter.
DAY 2: The learners will be presented pictures of successful companies and businesses
DAY 3: Trivia on the important people behind the history of accounting (visual prompting on slide presentation)
C. INSTRUCTION/DELIVERY (15 mins/day)
DAILY:
- Present the basic concepts
- Encourage the learners to participate in the discussion
D. PRACTICE/ DRILL (20 mins/ day)
DAY 1: The learners will be given 10-15 mins to construct a word bubble and present it to the class.
DAY 2: Case analysis
DAY 3: Draw a timeline/ act / narrate via story telling the history of accounting.
